Years 1-12
English lessons begin with three assessments to determine the student's reading, writing, and literature capabilities. Depending upon the student's current capabilities in English, we may choose to prioritise improvement one area directly and develop the other areas as the student becomes more well-rounded in their English skills.
Computing
Years 1-12
Depending on the student's goals, computing lessons may begin with an assessment on a specific program, a broad range of curriculum strands, or we may choose to enter straight into lessens.

Maths
Years 1-10
Maths tutoring begins with one or two tests depending on the year level or goals of the student.
Alford Tutoring recommends students in year 6+ to complete a calculator and non-calculator test and students in year 5 or below to complete a non-calculator test to align with NAPLAN and Western Australia's curriculum standards
